The Third Place Club started with a simple observation: more people than ever are working remotely, but most of them don't have a real place to do it. Home is too full of distractions. Coffee shops are too loud and temporary.
We wanted something different. A neighborhood work club. A place that feels like it belongs in Shaker Squar. A place where you can put your head down, take a real call, and still run into someone worth knowing.
Why Shaker Square?
Shaker Square is one of Cleveland's great neighborhood crossroads. It's connected by rail, surrounded by local businesses, and full of people who care about the east side. We chose it because we believe the third place should be somewhere you'd actually want to spend a day, not just somewhere convenient off the highway.
What "third place" means
Sociologists call it the third place: the place that's not home and not work, but where community happens. For remote workers, freelancers, and independent professionals, that place barely exists anymore. We're bringing it back, one desk at a time.
